I have been with Dr. Adams and his practice since 1995. I would best describe my position as building long lasting relationships with patients and their families. I love people and making them smile!

The special friendships and bonds that I have formed over the years are hands down the favorite part of my job. Dr. Adams puts his heart into each and every case, as he is truly passionate about his patients, striving to create outstanding orthodontia for outstanding people. A beautiful smile is much more than having straight teeth; it's having confidence in something that you share with other people everywhere you go!

My family members include my husband, Michael; daughter, Faith; and my King Charles Cavalier, Lola. In my free time I enjoy running, fashion and design, long dinners, photography, traveling to the beach, and most of all, spending time with my family. I love to surround myself with people that love to laugh and would do anything to see you smile!

My name is Julissa but everyone calls me Julie for short. I have been in the dental field for over 17 years. I'm the Financial and Insurance Coordinator, and I specialize in patient and insurance accounts. My main focus is to help patients with financial arrangements and with insurance.

I enjoy meeting new people and establishing trusting relationships. I love my job and truly enjoy what I do. Not too many people can say that, but I feel fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work for Dr. Adams. I enjoy watching Dr. Adams do "life changing" orthodontic treatment every day, and I feel very rewarded when I can help make it comfortably affordable for the patients. I'm very proud to work for Dr. Adams; he has changed the lives of numerous patients by providing them with a beautiful smile. Dr. Adams has dedicated his practice to providing the highest quality care to his patients. Another reason I love working for Dr. Adams is because it is a great privilege to work with this team to create beautiful smiles for our wonderful patients. We all love our families of patients and the positive effect we have on our community. I can honestly say that I work with the best!

I currently reside in Allen, Texas with my husband John of 15 years. My husband is a Dallas Police Officer and we have 4 wonderful children and a Yorkie dog named “Bear.” Our lives are very busy with all of the things a dog and active children bring into our life, and we love every minute of it! My family is my life! In my spare time I enjoy volunteering at church, reading, cooking, going out to the movies, weight lifting, music and love to hanging out with my girlfriends. I also love traveling and going to the beach at least once a year.

The thing that I like best about working for Dr. Adams is the passion he has for giving the "Best Smile" for each of his patients. I'm currently under treatment with Dr. Adams and my transformation has been amazing. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Adams as my orthodontist. Dr. Adams is recognized nationally for his amazing work. I can honestly tell you as an RDA and an active patient that he is the best, and no can compare to his treatment results.

I'm a native of Texas. I grew up in Josephine and went to Community High School. I'm a single mom and have two wonderful children, Skylar and Manny. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, watching sports, and going to basketball games.

I have been in the orthodontic field since 1998 and started with Dr. Adams in May of 2002. I'm the head director of the lab department. I specialize in diagnostic records, x-rays, photos, orthodontic appliances, retainers, and Invisalign. I'm also a licensed dental assistant and have assisted Dr. Adams and office administrative staff.

I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to learn, grow and expand my expertise over the years. Dr. Adams is very passionate about helping people and improving the quality of life for each individual he treats. I feel confident that patients receive a spectacular result with a perfectionist like Dr. Adams. He has given my daughter and me a beautiful smile with braces and great self-confidence. The relationships I have gained over the years with our patients are what I love most about my job. It is bittersweet to see patients' smiles change over the time they spend here with us growing up. Many kiddos need the self-esteem boost and confidence that a beautiful smile creates. In some cases I have seen patients transform into beautiful individuals and completely change their life.

I am here to stay; I was born and raised in Texas! I have only one daughter, who will soon graduate high school and find her own adventures in life. We have a dog and two cats that keep us entertained and busy. I do enjoy traveling when time allows, and I hope to see much more of the world someday. Maybe someone will finally invent a time machine to transport me out there! I love Mexican food! Anytime I get the chance to enjoy good food and company, I'm in.

In September of 2012, I began working for Dr. Adams. I am a lab assistant and help in other areas of the office whenever someone needs a hand!

The thing I like best about working for Dr. Adams is helping people love their smiles and learning something new every day.

I am blessed with two daughters and a son that remind me everyday how easy it is to enjoy the simple things in life. I also enjoy the company of two dogs and two cats. Life is never dull in my home! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like to lose myself in the garden for an hour or two, take in the latest movie, or doodle in my sketch pad. My friends would tell you that I am most well known for my chicken enchiladas!

My favorite thing about the practice of orthodontics is seeing how you can change something mechanically into a beautiful smile. I'm a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. My family members include my husband, Kelly, and 2 dogs, Gizmo and Karlie. In my free time I enjoy photography. Taking pictures and editing them is a passion of mine.

I am Dr. Adams wife. I have been involved with the practice since the beginning. I work behind the scenes with the inner components of running a business.

My favorite part about the orthodontic practice is the first time a new patient calls to schedule an appointment. I love to hear their concerns and stories. The thing I like best about Dr. Adams is his commitment to excellence. I am proud that he does articulated models on every patient, so he knows where the real bite is; he doesn't just line up teeth. I am grateful that he has never stopped learning. He goes to continuing education and is active in two national study clubs.

We have two married daughters who have been blessed with amazing Christian husbands. We have a new grandson that has brought much joy into our lives. At this time, we only have one pet, Stella. She is a 5 pound black Chihuahua. I like to spend my free time with our family and friends. I enjoy art and all things artistic. I like to relax at the lake, and I love the beach and the mountains. Something you may not know about me is that I am a Breast Cancer survivor. I encourage early detection and aggressive action. When I was only 38 years old, a mammogram detected a tiny invasive tumor in my breast. I am grateful for the mammogram that saved my life and the doctor that requested it!

I was exposed at an early age to the dental community through family members who chose to make this their profession. When Dr. Adams gave me the opportunity to become party of their team, I began working on my RDA certification.

I have experience working in the front and back office and understand the schedule and the importance of running on time. It is my joy to serve our patients in the clinic and I love being a part of helping people have beautiful smiles.

I learn something new every day while undergoing treatment myself. I believe this helps me to relate to our patients.

My daughter, Isabella and I are from Lavone, Texas. I enjoy spending time with her and coaching cheerleading.

I recently joined the team at Adams and McBride Orthodontics in August 2014.

Working in the front has been a privilege, being able to see all of the beautiful smiles from the moment they walk through the door and getting to know such wonderful families. It is so fascinating to learn of all of the parents who had treatment as young patients now bringing their own children to receive treatment at this practice. What I enjoy most about working for Dr. Adams and Dr. McBride is the friendly atmosphere and their ability to give patients the attention they need and deserve.

I'm a native of East Texas but have called the Dallas area my home for the last 10 years. My family members include my husband Blake and four-year old little boy, Cohen. Outside of work, I enjoy the adventures of being a Mom, shopping for home décor or that perfect outfit, and going on date nights with my husband, which usually entails a great sushi restaurant.
